Peace of mind allowed us to have an even better holiday. ~ When we decided to head overseas on our annual holiday we were concerned for our pets; 2 Cockatiels 'Mango' and 'Jaffa', 3 fish tanks [tropical and marine] and especially our beloved 1 year young Animal Welfare League Rescue Dog "Chevy". The Heavy Chev is a sensitive boy, gentle and loving and very well behaved but he can be timid in some circumstances and insecure. We didn't want him to think we had deserted and displaced him again and we definitely didn't want to kennel him as he is a real home body who doesn't cope well with change and who loves his back yard, his little house, bed and toys. After a lot of thought, we decided to try and find a local pet sitter who could care for the animals and make sure there were regular comings and goings from our house. Obviously we needed someone we could trust with access to our house as well as someone who would give the animals the care and attention they needed. We were lucky enough to find Gold Coast Pet Sitting and cannot sing their praises [especially Bec's] enough. Bec kept in touch while we were overseas and reassured us that the animals and Chev were fine. She took fantastic care of them all and the photo's show how much Chevy loved his time with Bec. They played, walked and had tummy rubs and smooches.
The Heavy Chev sends big doggie kisses to Bec, and our family sincerely thanks her for the wonderful job she did. It gave us peace of mind and allowed us to have an even better holiday. We will certainly be using the Gold Coast Pet Sitting service again when we head off on our holidays, and we highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy animal lover to care for their special pets.
